About Me

This part of the garden that we built from scratch, building raised beds where there had been not much but grass, hawthorne and lots of weeds!  To the right of this photo is still quite a large hill of dirt that we have moved wheel barrow by wheel barrow, sifting the rocks and weeds out of it as we go into the many beds we have today.

It is quite an impressive site in full bloom and we invite all who wish to visit and see the garden at it's best in August and September.  I operate a dahlia webpage that  you can Google "Connie's Dahlias" which will take you into the garden.  There are many links on this site to other dahlia sites, good information on digging and splitting tubers, what to do each season, links which describe in detail on making cuttings, fertilizers etc.  Enjoy!  If you are a Facebook user, you merely need to type Connie's Dahlias in the search bar to enter.  This is a public site with visits with fellow growers from all over theh world.

Your Facebook site is glorious. What a total joy to look at. Do you by chance sell dahlia tubers? Many thanks, Jane Sherrott [email protected]

With fall upon us, it is time to cut down and dig out your dahlias. See Connie's Dahlias website for information on this task.
